In Your Place

In Your Place

This body of work moves through interiors, details, and everyday spaces as a way of observing how visual culture takes shape. Rather than focusing on individuals directly, the photographs attend to the environments people create and inhabit. Through decoration, color, murals, furniture, and light, the images reflect forms of style, aspiration, imagination, and collective taste across different social and cultural contexts.

The spaces pictured function as indirect portraits. They hold traces of habit, use, and personal expression, while also pointing toward larger ideas of representation and identity. People occasionally appear, but never as fixed subjects. Attention remains with the atmosphere of the space itself and the visual language it carries.

Taken across multiple countries and contexts, the work reveals recurring gestures in the way interiors are arranged, decorated, and lived in. Architecture and décor become ways of understanding how societies represent themselves and how ideas of modernity, beauty, and belonging are visually constructed in everyday life.
